1) What FromJordan is

FromJordan is a directory that helps people discover and contact makers and small businesses in Jordan. We provide listings, categories, search, and community tools (likes/comments). We are not a payment processor and not the seller of goods unless explicitly stated on a specific page.

2) Our legal philosophy (how we build rules)

• Transparency: rules should be understandable and enforced consistently.
• Minimum data: we collect only what we need to operate and protect the service.
• Safety: scams, abuse, and harassment get removed quickly.
• Fairness: makers keep ownership of their content; users keep ownership of their comments.
• Accountability: sensitive actions should be logged (especially admin/moderation actions).

3) Accounts & access

Browsing is public. Actions like liking, commenting, applying, claiming a listing, or admin tools require login. You’re responsible for activity under your account.

4) User content (comments, reports, submissions)

• You must not post illegal content, harassment, hate, threats, doxxing, or spam.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or harms the platform.
• By posting content, you grant us permission to display it on FromJordan (non-exclusive).
• You keep ownership of what you post.

5) Maker listings & verification

Listings may be created by admins, the maker, or community submissions (depending on features enabled). “Verified” indicates we performed a verification step, but it is not a guarantee of quality, shipping speed, or business outcomes.

6) Claiming a listing

If you are the rightful owner of a maker listing, you may submit a claim with evidence. We may request additional proof. False claims may result in account restrictions.

7) Prohibited behavior

• Fraud, impersonation, or attempts to manipulate verification
• Automated scraping or abusive traffic
• Spam, repeated unwanted contact, or malicious links
• Attacks on the service (probing, exploitation, bypass attempts)

8) Privacy

9) Disclaimers

FromJordan is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee availability, accuracy, or that a maker will fulfill an order. Any purchase you make is between you and the maker or the linked website.

10) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FromJordan is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

11) Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are important, we’ll update the effective date and post the new version here.
